An open-air museum on 133 hectares, founded on 6 February 1969: about 300 monuments of folk architecture from every historical region of Ukraine.
Good to know. You cannot see it all at once: allow half a day and comfortable shoes.
What to see
Wooden churches of the 18th century, the windmills of Polissia and the Dnieper region, cottages with their original furnishings. The grounds are divided by region — the Carpathians, Poltava, Podillia, Polissia, the South.

Opened in 1986 in the house where the first private pharmacy in Kyiv, run by Johann Heiter, worked in the 18th century. Over two thousand items on the history of Ukrainian pharmacy.

Good to know. The museum sells hand-made soap and herbal preparations made to old recipes.
What to see
The alchemist’s cellar and the healer’s hut — installations in the basement; pharmacy glass, prescriptions and instruments of the 18th–19th century.
